Hi Folks,

We had a great time at the last meeting at
Leonie did the pit board with Joe.

He thought he was in charge and got the laps
wrong. There was nothing on the pit
board but I was sure I had seen the lap 3 twice. Darren Gilpin pulled in

I carried on and came in 11th instead of 12th. When I went over to commiserate thinking his
bike had broken down, I found that it hadn’t been a mechanical problem. He had been watching my pit board and pulled
in thinking it was the end of the race!!

Joe’s my best friend now.
Well done to Steve Cobble for doing his best ever time
around the Mount, air born over Jeffries Jumps.

Mark Goodings hit the deck again, luckily he wasn’t
hurt.

Don’t think Farquhar was too impressed with the
thunderbird impression though!

Go steady mate.
Roger Wibbley came off at the same place on the
Sunday. Serves him right for showing off
on the start line with his brolly dollies.

Richard Gibson was his scintillating as ever. He was winning from the poll position in the
‘B’ Final until the bolt fell out of his gear linkage. He coasted into the pits a bit of an unhappy
chappy…

I showed him how to lock wire it and offered him a
tube of locktite glue. Don’t think he
was too impressed.

Look who I saw in the crowd, Luke Deveney, the 2007
Auto 66 Libre Champion, now retired, with his Dad and Daughter. Nice to see you. Sorry I couldn’t get to talk to you, but I
was a bit busy. Curly said that you
liked the new bike. Thanks mate.

Think I need me hair cutting…ummm.

Dave Clarke ran out of petrol, that was bad enough but
having Dave Bell tootle past you down hill on his back wheel added insult to
injury.

Better check your tank next time, it’s a long way to
scoot home.
Hi to Kath and Andrew.
Thanks for your support and help clearing up. Hi to me Mum who got into the circuit simply
because she was me mum. Hi to Maureen and Darryal who brought me Mum.

Well that’s the end of the season for this year. See you next year.

Thanks for your support throughout the year
Cheers
John
