Histoy of JOHN BATTY THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK!

John Batty has been racing since 1977 when he made his debut on a Yamaha 200.
This year John became the
`Formula Libre Champion 2005`

Which he won on the bike pictured above.
His present racing bike, a Honda CBR 600, (Pictured at Scarborough in June 2005).

last year was a busy one. He started the season on a cold weekend in March at Elvington Airfield with the Auto 66 Club. He proceeded to participate in all six rounds dropping only one point. He won the championship by 18 points over his nearest rival.

John’s other main triumph of the season was to appear in the `Manx Grand Prix` On the Isle of Man, August 2005. He didn’t quite achieve the desired 100 m/hr due to adverse weather conditions. That isn’t deterring him from trying again this year, so watch this space.

Last year we had a few additions to the Pit crew, Joe, Tim and Darryl, pictured here with the bike and John at the Man. GP. Oh yes, and the team mascot, Lucifer. She Accompanies the team everywhere. We just don’t leave home without her.

John’s special purchase for 2006 is a Honda RR 600. This is at present is at ‘God’s garage, sorry, Dave Stephenson’s of Louth. This will then wing its way to his sponsors, Milo Motors, of Hull, to be painted up to join the rest of the team bikes. This will become the number one racing bike of 2006. Hope the other two bikes don’t get too jealous. The twins will become the triplets.

The twins can be seen here too timid to venture out of their home at their first outing. Here patiently waiting to be loaded up into the van to go to the next round of the Libre Championship

Why not check out the picture page, and my Sponsor’s page. You can follow John’s progress by checking out his performance at this year's meetings. See the fixture page for details. If you want to leave some comments or message you can either Email John, LINK, or leave a message on his guest book. Hope you call again.
